Made of the correct GM6148M spec rubber polymer, (NOT WINDSHIELD WASHER HOSE) this EGR Vacuum Hose Assembly is all new and all complete consisting of exact length, proper diameter straight and molded GM 6148M spec 7/32" vacuum hoses with special EGR solenoid manifold connector, black nylon tee, one genuine GM one-way vacuum check valve and one genuine GM two-way vacuum check valve.
This assembly interconnects the emission line from the vacuum block through a genuine GM one-way check valve to the EGR Valve and EGR Solenoid Valve, and tees off to supply the vacuum line to the genuine GM two-way vacuum check valve which splits off to the HVAC and Cruise Controls.
Due to the effects of heat and aging, it is common for these EGR vacuum hose assemblies to become dry rotted and cracked causing vacuum leaks. It is a good idea to inspect any factory original vacuum lines due to 37-40 years of aging.
