Headliner Map Light
Highway Stars are great to deal with, fast and friendly service. The color match and quality of the headliner is excellent. The headliner fit well but as with other reviews, the sun visor alignment was the trickiest part. This is a 2 person job for sure, just went easier with a second pair of hands. My old headliner came out in pieces and was a sticky mess so I couldn’t use it as a template. If yours is really deteriorated do yourself a favour and cover all seating surfaces with a sheet or plastic, the sticky adhesive will stain your seats. The map light location was not 100% so what I did was remove a small piece of the material where the map light goes, in retrospect I should have just slit it and not removed any material until I knew the hole lined up with no gaps. At first fitting there was going to be a gap of missing material by the map light but once I pushed the headliner forward a bit to align with sun visors, it thankfully disappeared. I also put on the top of the headliner some painters masking tape on the PVC side near the map light cutout, I then fit it in and marked the tip of the screw head posts for the map light with black sharpie. I pushed the headliner up to contact the painters tape to the screw head post. I then removed it from the car so I could see where the two screw head posts needed to be drilled through. Once I put it back in I could see the sun visor locations were off so I removed the headliner (again) and over drilled the screw head post holes and actually slotted them front to back so I could slide the headliner forward or back to line up with the visors. You need to be careful drilling though the PVC so you don’t bind or go through the material, go slow and cut carefully. When you align the sun visor locations you can push on the map light location to slice the fabric to let the screw post mounts through. The coat hook cutouts, I removed the fabric before installation (same with the sun visor locations). This made it easier to see and cutting it out before in the car was much easier. One of the coat hook spots lined up perfectly, the other I had to drill a new hole 1/2 inch or so to the side, no big deal. All in it took a few hours mostly because I took my time and put it in and out a couple times to get it right. It looks great, I saved a bunch of money doing it myself and I hope I never have to do it again!

Nice Fit
Please make notes as to where your visors in relationship to the headliner when removed. That is the hardest part of the install was the re-installation of the visors. Fit was perfect and much easier than trying to remove and install new material. Swap and forget.

Looks better than the original!
The staff at Highway Stars was super helpful in determining my OE color. The headliner is not only perfect, the material is an exact match. Quality part and glad I went with Highway Stars!
